CECT Face (CT Scan Face with Contrast)

CECT Face is a diagnostic CT scan performed using intravenous contrast dye to provide enhanced visualization of the facial soft tissues, blood vessels, glands, muscles, and surrounding structures. It is commonly used to evaluate facial tumors, infections, abscesses, inflammatory conditions, vascular lesions, and spread of disease from adjacent areas. The contrast agent helps differentiate normal and abnormal tissues more clearly, making this scan useful when non-contrast CT findings are inconclusive.
