MRI Cervical Spine (C Spine) is a non-invasive imaging test used to obtain detailed images of the cervical region of the spine, including vertebrae, intervertebral discs, spinal cord, nerves, and surrounding soft tissues. It is commonly recommended to diagnose disc bulges, slipped discs, nerve compression, spinal stenosis, cervical spondylosis, infections, tumors, and spinal cord abnormalities. MRI provides excellent soft tissue contrast without radiation exposure, making it ideal for evaluating neck pain, stiffness, numbness, tingling, weakness in arms, or neurological symptoms. Contrast may be used in selected cases to assess tumors, infections, or post-surgical changes.
