MRI Dorsal Spine (D Spine), also known as MRI Thoracic Spine, is a non-invasive imaging test used to obtain detailed images of the middle portion of the spine, including vertebrae, intervertebral discs, spinal cord, and surrounding soft tissues. It is commonly recommended to diagnose disc herniation, spinal stenosis, infections, tumors, trauma, inflammatory conditions, and spinal cord compression. MRI provides excellent soft tissue contrast without radiation exposure, making it ideal for evaluating mid-back pain, weakness, sensory changes, or neurological symptoms. Contrast may be used in selected cases to assess tumors, infections, or post-surgical changes.
