ABSOLUTE LYMPHOCYTE COUNT (ALC)

An absolute lymphocyte count (ALC) is a blood test that measures the exact number of lymphocytes in a blood sample. It's calculated by multiplying the total number of white blood cells by the percentage of white blood cells that are lymphocytes. 

These tests include: Absolute lymphocytes count: The absolute lymphocytes count is part of a complete blood count (CBC). An absolute lymphocytes count tells you the number of cells as an absolute number instead of as a percentage.

A high absolute lymphocyte count, or lymphocytosis, can indicate your body is fighting an infection or inflammatory condition, or, in some cases, a more serious condition like blood cancer, requiring further investigation and potentially treatment.
