APOLIPOPROTEIN A (APO B)

Apolipoprotein A (ApoA) and Apolipoprotein B (ApoB) are both important proteins in lipoprotein particles that transport lipids in the blood. ApoA1 is the primary protein of HDL (good cholesterol), while ApoB is the main protein of LDL (bad cholesterol). A high ApoB:ApoA1 ratio is associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular disease.
