Complete Kidney function Test (Complete KFT)

Kidney function tests, also known as renal function tests, are used to evaluate how well your kidneys are working by measuring waste products and electrolytes in blood and urine samples. Common tests include measuring creatinine, electrolytes (Sodium/Na+, Potassium /K, Chloride/Cl), and Urea, Uric acid etc. 

Kidney function tests measure how efficiently your kidneys are working. Most of these tests check how well your kidneys clear waste from your blood. A kidney test may involve a blood test, 24-hour urine sample or both. You usually have your test results the same day or within a few days.

What is the normal KFT level? The normal reference ranges for KFT parameters are: Serum Creatinine: 0.7–1.3 mg/dL (men), 0.6–1.1 mg/dL (women) Blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN): 7–20 mg/dL.
