Ultrasound U/S for Biophysical Profile (BPP)

A biophysical profile (BPP) test, which includes an ultrasound, is a prenatal assessment of fetal well-being, typically performed after 32 weeks of pregnancy. It evaluates five key parameters: fetal breathing movements, fetal movements, fetal tone, amniotic fluid volume, and fetal heart rate (non-stress test). The results of the BPP help assess the health of the fetus and guide delivery decisions, especially in high-risk pregnancies.
